Stampin Up Fringe Scissors

Stampin Up Fringe Scissors, a must have. Decked out in Pool Party and Crisp Cantaloupe and using the DSP Sweet Sorbet this card came together quickly. I like when I see great ideas on Pinterest. Especially using new items I might have just got in.
Being inspired is what makes the creativity flow in yourself.

Cards and crafts

The New Year resolutions are definitely staying in tact. I've finished yet another project along with some great samples for the Stamp a stack class that's coming soon..
A card for a co worker who lost her dog, those times are never easy..
A shadow box for my DH , kind of a memory box. I love the outcome of it. I'm starting to work on a third shadow baby box for a boy this time. Keeping busy in that craft room!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Retro Sketches #1 and Back to work!

This is my last Friday of vacation, I spent the first 3 days of the week in Orientation, and our awesome meet and greet the kids and parents night. I'm very excited to get back to work. Though my hanging out with my boy is done for now, I look forward to the nights and weekends with him.

Anyways, I found this web page that does Retro Sketches, it helps you out a bit when you get stuck on a design
There are a lot to look at, and they post different cards from those sketches.
You Can Check it out by going HERE

Another Just Because

I've been crafting all morning, trying to get the energy to organize some of the things that are laying around, especially since both boys are sleeping . However I find that I just want to craft and get some things done. I'm trying to organize my first open house and workshop so i can share some of the things that I have done and show others what they can do.Hopefully in the next month I can get that together. Until then, I will continue to make more cards. Here's one using the Artisian Embellishment Kit from stampin up which you can purchase HERE .

I saw this card while looking for a certain technique and tweaked it a little bit.

Layered Look

You're too Kind

I Have been looking for something to do that isn't so "traditional" the past few days and finally came across this dimensional look that had a tutorial. I like the layered look on cards, so i thought I'd try it out. It took some time to get it done, being a Sunday and the nagging list of stuff we all have to do before that "back to work" Monday comes. I had extra time tonight since DH worked late and i had a few minutes of not hearing "hey mom" while the boy jumped in the shower. The results - not so bad...

A quick before work idea

I did this before the boys got up, something just quick that i had used from another card idea. It seems that's the time I can concentrate without having a million things to do for DH or the Boy before we leave in the morning.
