Valentine cards

I started my Valentine Cards this past weekend. I use the gorgeous grunge stamp set a lot. I like the look it gives in any project that I've done.
Don't forget that Stampin up's Sale a bration is going on now. For every $50 you spend you get something free. You can sign up with me and get the rewards and benefits of this exciting event!

Valentine candy jars

Valentine's Day 2
Here are the Bottles that are made into little candy holders. I love these bottles. You can purchase these at Michaels. I tried to find them at Hobby Lobby. But they only carried mason jars. My craft room is over flowing with Mason jars. One of these will be given to my DH today for Day 2.
I also purchased the little candy hearts and dumped them in the one empty bottle. Once I stood back and looked at it. The colors of the candy really didn't go with Valentine Red. I'll be finding something else to put in there. Maybe M&M's.

Day 1 of Valentines

For Valentines Day I do a 14 day count down to Valentines day. It's kind of like the 12 days of Christmas. Every day there is a little something for my husband until the 14th. For day one This was the first little something. I love the Gift Box Punch Board from Stampin up! You can make any size box by following the guide. The DSP is retired, but I found just enough to cover this box. This is a reason why I keep all my scraps.

Valentine basket

Hello Friends!.A short post this morning, I wanted to show another Valentine Treat Basket made with the Two tags die cut. This Basket was very easy to make and easy to assemble. The only hard part would be deciding what kind of candy to put in it!
More crafts and cards to come.

Stampin up treat basket

Valentines is around the corner and today I bring you the Valentine Treat Basket!
All products are Stampin up (minus the sweet candy hehe) and what a cute project to make!
This is a project that was quick to make so producing more then one is very simple in a short amount of time.
I wrapped some heart candies in a Cellophane bag and tied ribbon around it just to show what it might look like with some candy In it.

Valentine's box

Here is a Valentine box that's not quite completed, but wanted to show what a great idea this is. When the lid is off it opens into a bunch of panels that you can decorate. I love the coordinating card stock I had available to use for this. I'll be finishing it tonight so I can Mark it off the completed list and start another one..

Love Valentine Card

Here's another card I completed today..I've also completed some mason jar lids for Valentine's as well...to hold candy for the boys, they both love their chocolate..I'll get some pictures of those as well.

All products used are Stampin Up!. Once the craft room was cleaned out I found a lot of things that I forgot I had hidden in these drawers. So I used them for this card. I Went back to find the name for the person that was the inspiration for this card, but sadly the name was not on it. Same concept just different windows and tweaked a bit..

Tried it again

Middle of the week, I spent most my morning trying to get the correct measurements for the Valentine card (cut from the St Patricks Day Card). I realized i had spent almost 2 hours in the craft room making sure that the whole thing was measured right. I used cm instead of inches. It was easier to measure and cut. So I went through the day thinking I just need to get this one card done. I finally finished it and here it is.
When I used the Whisper White cardstock, it was really bright and needed to be filled in.You saw more white then actual color. So I decided to use some Real red cardstock to fill in some of the other spots.

So many different ideas

As i was grabbing more ideas off pages and pages of beautiful cards, I saw this one (a different layout) for a Birthday. So following the tutorial on how to make it I got down to the end and as many of us have done Stamped the Birthday saying upside down (yes, the words were right but the stamp was upside down)!. By that point after working diligently on getting that card done and then messing up at the end. I decided to try again!..I ended up with a Valentine card instead!.

These are mini 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 cards

A Favorite of mine
