Crafty Update and a Weekend Open House

The Convention is over and all the talented Demonstrators are back at home looking through all their goodies!..I can't wait to see ideas and get some inspiration from everyone!.

I finally went back to work officially last Monday. It was a wonderful week seeing the kids and spending time with them!.

I have my First Open house scheduled for August 9th. I'm looking forward to it. I have many projects I would like to do but will be narrowing it down to just a few.

I'm hoping to finish up some crafting this weekend so I can show you what I've been up to!.

Convention Day 2

This is my last Friday of vacation, I spent the first 3 days of the week in Orientation, and our awesome meet and greet the kids and parents night. I'm very excited to get back to work. Though my hanging out with my boy is done for now, I look forward to the nights and weekends with him.

 

 

Anyways, I found this web page that does Retro Sketches, it helps you out a bit when you get stuck on a design

1st Christmas Santa Tag

I started the first Christmas tag MONTHS early, But its always good to get an early start. Christmas is one of my favorite Holidays..I love everything about it, so lately I've been doing a lot of Christmas things for friends, I put them in a box when I'm done so they are kept safe.

 

I saw this cute tag on the internet , but of course forgot to save it so I could go back and give proper credit for the design..

Secret Garden - Power of two

I've been keeping up with the Convention posts and pictures of all the great things that are going on there in UTAH! SO Jealous!!..Next year I'm definitely going to be there!..

As I was making this card, DH was on my mind so I thought this was a perfect sentiment for my thought .

"Never underestimate the Power of two".

That describes DH and I..That's how we've always been..We can do anything as long as we do it together.

 

 Love is Good, A Honest True Marriage filled with that Love is Even better!

Back To School Gifts

Giving Gifts....

A very long day !..I finally finished two things on my "To do" list before this weekend. I made a quick "Back to School Survival Kit" for 2 of my co workers as a litte joke. Working with Autistic Children (Or any children), we are constantly using hand sanitizer, kleenex for faces and post it notes, because we constantly forget to write things down. So these were made for two of my favorite coworkers from a Tutorial by Lisa Young. Inside it will hold a small bottle of Sanitizer, Kleenex and Post it notes..

I think they will get a kick out of it ;)..
