Hi Kay. Thanks so much for your kind comments. It's a shame that any fabric store closes! The sad part about this one is that this was more like a neighborhood store. It use to be called Minnesota Fabrics when I was a kid learning how to sew until Hancock's took over. Even though there are others, they aren't nearby and it also makes me wonder: who's next? I went to a Hancock's the Memorial Day w'end and got some really great deals.
I have subscribed to your blog, but since google reader is going away in a few weeks, then that will disappear unless one joins one of the other blogged networks. I enjoy your blog! Very nice and creative! I'm trying to add more to my blog. I'm no graphic artist so I'm trying to learn as I go!
Thank you so much for commenting and I look forward to learning more about what you do, you, and your blog! :-). Cordially, JC
Hi!..I read that too. When I messed up my blog, i looked for the Google Friend Connect, I was able to get it back but heard it was going away. I guess when that time comes I'm curious to see if it will just be removed from the blogs. I loved Hancock Fabrics, I spent all my time in there with my mom (good times)..Now we have a place called "Joanne's"..its just like it. Larger supply of material.
It was all confusing to me as well, then I just started searching for tutorials and tips and learned as I started building. Now I'm hoping to build up fellow Crafters!. Have a wonderful Day!
